Nursery Secrets: Care Like an Expert

Sunlight: This plant is a sun-lover. Place it where it gets maximum light, especially from the South or East. Without good sun, you won’t get that “vibrant” red color on the peach skin.

Watering: In the summer, the leaves are large and drink a lot of water. Keep the soil moist. In winter, the tree will shed its leaves—don’t worry, it’s just sleeping! Reduce water during this time.

Soil & Food: It loves well-drained soil. Don’t let water stand at the roots (no “pich-pich” soil). Mix in plenty of Vermicompost every few months. To protect the roots from Indian soil pests, always mix a little Neem Khali into the top layer.
